Although I promote alcohol and drinking, health is number one. It is one thing to have fun, drink and enjoy yourself, but over intoxication and alcohol abuse is very serious. You might not only be a danger to yourself but others as well. With the holidays coming up soon, there are many holiday events that involves alcohol. It is okay to say no. Realize your limit and stick to it. If you feel like you had too much to drink, do not go behind the wheel. Call a friend or uber home. Remember, it is okay to drink but drink responsibly. A bartender has the right to cut off a guests if they feel like they had too much or intoxicated. They can lose their job or go to jail if something happens to that person. Have fun but be safe. Don't drink, have a mocktail (non-alcoholic cocktail) and still have fun. If you feel like you have an alcohol problem and need to speak with someone, call (855) 521-1317. It is a 24 Hour Alcohol Helpline or find a support group in your city, there are options. Have fun but remember safety first!
